The mark consists of a circular wood grain carving containing a Central American sun king god in a circle. At the bottom of the carving are depictions of hops, and around each side of the circle are depictions of wheat. On top of the carving sits a depiction of a Royal or Imperial crown. Above the crown are the stylized words "SUN KING BREWERY". At the bottom of the mark are the stylized words "KING'S RESERVE" with the stylized words "SPECIALTY BEER" underneath. Various swirls appear along each side of the entire mark. The entire mark is located on a background containing faint, repeating images of the same Central American sun king god carving surrounded by hops, wheat and the crown.
